Its is almost time for summer and to beat the summer heat, how about some ice cream popsicle? Here is a simple recipe to make cream soda popsicles.
1 bottle vanilla cream soda
2 cups water
½ cup white sugar
¼ teaspoon Dr Vanilla's vanilla extract
Jelly Candies (Optional)
Pour cream soda into a bowl and whisk until no longer bubbly; set aside.
Heat water and sugar in a saucepan over medium high heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved, about 5 minutes.
Stir sugar mixture and vanilla extract into the cream soda.
Put a few jelly candies into small plastic cups or ice pop molds and pour the soda mixture into it, then insert wooden ice pop sticks.
Freeze until firm.
Instead of extract you can alternatively use vanilla bean, after scrapping the seeds and mix them uniformly to the sugar mixture.
